Sister’s Cove and LakeWalk – New Lake Norman Waterfront Communities

While driving around Lake Norman I noticed the tremendous amount of new construction happening throughout the towns of Mooresville, Catawba, and Cornelius. Whether it be custom waterfront or residential off-water homes the activity of new construction is very exciting for the Lake Norman region.

However, the development of  2 new waterfront communities, Sister’s Cove and LakeWalk really caught my attention. We have not seen this type of construction for close to 10 years.

Sisters Cove is conveniently located off of I-77, exit 36, which provides a variety of dining, shopping, and activities that are sure to pique your interest during your visit. All of your needs are only a stone’s throw away from Sisters Cove, but you soon find yourself in a lakefront community that offers spectacular views and homes designed with you in mind

LakeWalk is located at the corner of Big Indian Lane and Bluefield Road and is situated on the shores of Lake Norman. They will have 4 distinct neighborhood districts that will include lakefront homes, lake view homes, park view homes, and traditional lot layout housing. LakeWalk will have a 1+ mile walking trail highlighted by a linear park that stretches along the property meandering to the shores of Lake Norman. They will also have a pool, canoe launch area, and lots of hidden parks and other opportunities to interact with nature.
