People always ask me what is so great about living in the Lake Norman region. Well, there are many reasons but the 4 seasons are wonderful. We get a very mild winter
and for those relocating from up north, it is a dream come true.
The Fall is so amazing with the color of the foliage. Which brings me to the proximity to the Blue Ridge mountains. Day trips to Blowing Rock, which you see my wife and Daisy in the picture to the left, are a favorite of ours.
We love the mountains so much that 5 years ago we bought a cabin that we can enjoy any time.
For those who love the beach, it is an easy 3 1/2-hour drive to the coast. You can choose from the historic city of Charleston, SC (which is our favorite), Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, or the Outer Banks for some great offshore fishing.
Once back home to Lake Norman continue to enjoy your new lake life living. Enjoy boating, waterfront dining, and shopping, or take a short drive to Uptown Charlotte for a play or pro sporting event.
